Last post

It is time to say goodbye! This will be my last post. Therefore, I would like to mention a number of things before leaving my blog. First of all, I want to talk a little about my first contact with this web page. For me, it was very nice write weekly posts because I like writing about things that I think (although there has been weeks which I could not upload posts, but later I upload it). On the other hand, I would like to say that this subject is very nice and from my point of view, the time has been passed very fast because I repeat: I love writing. And finally, it was a pleasant experience that I would like to repeat at any time in my life and I hope you have happy holidays.

Christmas

Christmas is a celebration shared by everyone in the world and is celebrated with family and friends (and with all the important people in our lives). It is where the vast majority of people are on holidays and resting of their daily life. But it is related with lighting and decorations. Children relate this period with presents and for many others it is a chance to see their family and friends and to remember ones who are not near of us. For others it is a time full of stress due the fact that there are to make all the preparations, buying gifts ... but in the end people enjoy it. This is the real value of Christmas. Be with our family and enjoy this family day forgetting the problems and enjoying every detail.

My birthday

Yesterday, December 6 was my birthday and I would like to tell what I did that day. I woke up and I began to receive many compliments from my family and my friends. I was grateful that they remembered my birthday. That same morning I went to the supermarket with my mother to buy everything that I needed. And finally, at night my friends started coming my to my house and I saw that my best friend wasn't come with the others. Then, she called me and told me that she couldn't come because she just  had  a problem. In that moment I was really angry but I  understood it. Until finally I realized that it was a joke because after call me, she went to my house. I ordered pizza for dinner and we were very comfortable there. They gave me a lot of presents but apart from that, they made me very happy being with me that day.

Describe someone

My entry of today is dedicated to describe my sister. She is younger than me, she is 11 years old. But she measures the same as me although I'm eight years older than her. In terms of her personality, she's very friendly, cheerful, funny and affectionate although sometimes she behave completely different with me. Apart from that, she is very clever. When she grow up, she wants to be an veterinarian because she loves animals. And I think that's all about her. 

Advantages and disavantages of something

The advantages and disadvantages of television are:

Advantages:

• Entertain us

• Increase our worldview

• Increase our knowledge about  science, culture and history

• Help us to learn human values, attitudes and lifestyles

Disadvantages:

• It has a lot of violence and eroticism

• Encourages aggressive conduct

• It helps to perpetuate  roles and stereotypes

• Encourage consumerism of any kind of product

• Create false images of beauty and happiness

• Induce the creation of a poor and wrong vocabulary.

• It could create addiction

Make a thesis statement

Everybody who is at the university need to pass the period of exams but before arrive there, there are lots of students who do not know how to start studying all the contents of the subjects.

Education is going on the right way?

It is very easy nowadays to throw the blame in teachers when your children are not getting the results that they should have. Because for everyone it is easy to remove the faults of things and not assume that often we are responsible for this to happen.

To start and from my point of view, education is acquired not only in schools but also has to come with a very good basis from home. For example, if your son at home does not pick up his toys, you cannot expect that in the school he will be orderly with things.

Apart from that, our educational system is based on prohibitions and obligations and the opinion of the students do not care so much. The system forces you to study  all with your memory for passing the subjects and I think that there are not going in the right direction. Look at Finlandia as  example. For them it is not enough just to memorize things because all  theory is required for each practice. With that you get the hold  attention of the students and also they  learn more things than just study it with memory, because the day after the exam they have completely forgotten everything.

Definitely, I think that we should stop forcing and imposing both things and make each subject unique and try to grab the attention of students for they study with taste and not as an obligation. And I am sure that we will begin to get very different results.
