Describe someone

My entry of today is dedicated to describe my sister. She is younger than me, she is 11 years old. But she measures the same as me although I'm eight years older than her. In terms of her personality, she's very friendly, cheerful, funny and affectionate although sometimes she behave completely different with me. Apart from that, she is very clever. When she grow up, she wants to be an veterinarian because she loves animals. And I think that's all about her. 

Advantages and disavantages of something

The advantages and disadvantages of television are:

Advantages:

• Entertain us

• Increase our worldview

• Increase our knowledge about  science, culture and history

• Help us to learn human values, attitudes and lifestyles

Disadvantages:

• It has a lot of violence and eroticism

• Encourages aggressive conduct

• It helps to perpetuate  roles and stereotypes

• Encourage consumerism of any kind of product

• Create false images of beauty and happiness

• Induce the creation of a poor and wrong vocabulary.

• It could create addiction

Make a thesis statement

Everybody who is at the university need to pass the period of exams but before arrive there, there are lots of students who do not know how to start studying all the contents of the subjects.

Education is going on the right way?

It is very easy nowadays to throw the blame in teachers when your children are not getting the results that they should have. Because for everyone it is easy to remove the faults of things and not assume that often we are responsible for this to happen.

To start and from my point of view, education is acquired not only in schools but also has to come with a very good basis from home. For example, if your son at home does not pick up his toys, you cannot expect that in the school he will be orderly with things.

Apart from that, our educational system is based on prohibitions and obligations and the opinion of the students do not care so much. The system forces you to study  all with your memory for passing the subjects and I think that there are not going in the right direction. Look at Finlandia as  example. For them it is not enough just to memorize things because all  theory is required for each practice. With that you get the hold  attention of the students and also they  learn more things than just study it with memory, because the day after the exam they have completely forgotten everything.

Definitely, I think that we should stop forcing and imposing both things and make each subject unique and try to grab the attention of students for they study with taste and not as an obligation. And I am sure that we will begin to get very different results.

To get the peace in the world, everybody need to be prepared to help people in difficult situations as us the case of one catastrophe.

Advantages and disavantages about tech-lovers in the social networks

From my point of view, there are more disadvantages than advantages to have one relationship in the social networks.

On one hand, a great advantage of using social networks to communicate with people who you love is that you can do it whenever you want and wherever you are without having to wait the answer of the other person because you can leave a message and he/she  will read it when he or her can.

On the other hand, one disadvantage to be all the time talking with one person is that it generates addiction in the electronics devices. Also, once you send any video, photo or audio you  completely lose the control of these things because as much as you say: 'Do not send to anyone' 'that person probably will do it. Moreover, and also another disadvantage, is that when you talk to a tech-lover for a time without ever seeing him, you do not know if what he/her are saying is true and if that person is who claiming to be. Thus, we have to be very careful with the technologies and not rely on what people say in the social networks because most of the time is a lie.

Introduction and conclusion about doing sport

Everybody know that practising sport can help us in factors related with our health, mental condition and our frame of mind. But there are times when we can not do it and it is important follow this advices for do not affect our health. This happens when we are very tired, hungry or thirsty. 

Remember that it is too important enjoy the exercise. These advices should be considered as a suggestions, not as a rules. And to get a healthy life we only need practising some sport that we really like and know when to do it and when stop it.

Big Ben

My post of today is dedicated to the Big Ben watch. I'm very interested in it because it is one of the most important icons of UK. We can see it in lots of English movies and also, if you have never seen this monument, when you do it you can apreciate how beautiful is it!

About this icon, the tower was completed in 1858 and it is officially known as the Elizabeth Tower. In terms of the structure, it was builtd in Neo-gothic style and for that reason we can see how complex are their details on the top and in the middle of it. The clock and dials were designed by August Pugin. The interior volume of the tower is 164,200 cubic feet (4.650 cubic metres).

An interest fact was happened on New Year's Eve in 1962 when it entered with 10 minutes late in the new year due some technical faults produced in the Big Ben. That was the only occasion where the clock failed because it is able to withstand elements like snow or wind and even withstood the German bombing during The Second World War. Apart of that fact, the watch mantains his timeliness intact. 

The advertisements manipulate us?

I think that it depends of the kind of person that you are.  It is normal see something on the TV and want it but the advert put in our mind that we really need it although it is not always true. Apart from that, sometimes the ads becomes more and more annoying because they last a long time and their themes often do not interest us at all. I've read an article three weeks ago which says that  young people is the most difficult generation to manipulate in frequents means of communication like TV or radio and they try to manipulate us through social networks. Finally, I believe that ads should remove in all areas (like youtube, TV,etc...) because   they annoy us and always makes us want more that what we have. Therefore, we should not be influenced by them.
